Final advert and digipack
I have changed the disk section slightly by lightening the image and adding the title of the album and title track 'nude' over the top, making it transparent and relating to the themes of the video and album mentioned before. I think this helps combine the image and ideas that run through the video, song, digipack and advert. I think the transparency also makes it remain looking quite simple, despite there being quite a lot going on.

Well done Becca. This is very impressive. I'm pleased you retook the band image. I would urge you to consider your forth pain on your digipak and take the opportunity to show your print skills. The music promo is great. There is just one frame which isn't very clear - the white shot after the kiss - and the place towards the end where you speed the clips up could be linked to the pace of the music a little more.

Becca, I think that the 'jerky' effect you've put on works well and suits the music but perhaps is a little overused and in places, especially the close-ups, it possibly takes away from the artist and emotion.

Digipack draft

As there was not one "perfect" image of the boys I had to use photoshop to edit an image of Bass (the boy on the far left) onto the image of the rest of the boys. Luckily for me all I had to do was copy the image of Bass ontop of the other image, line up the two photos and then cut off the section of Bass overlapping Liam's arm. I then merged both images and changed the lighting and made the image black and white.
For the cover I also had to edit Ben's neck to make it more symmetrical, I also used photoshop for this and used blurring, rotating the image, copy and pasting and the "stamp" tool for this.
For the track list I simply adjusted the curves and turned the image black and white and blurred the image so that the tracks are clearer to read.
For the disk background I also used the same image I did for the tracklist, however I cropped the image so it focuses on the abstract looking picture of the bed on the screen of the camera. This links with the video due to the actual visual, the distortions featured in teh video through the jerky effects, the notion of looking through the camera and the dark, twisted nature of the song, video, album.
Audience feedback
My audience feel that with the edits of the front cover, making Ben's neck more symmetrical and improving the framing the digipack looks a lot more sophisticated and visually pleasing. I have retaken the group shot due to feedback saying Dom is too far in the background and the lighting is too dark.
I just need to edit and add the new photo to the digipack and then it should be complete.
With my music video the audience have said they love the distorting effects and the darkness and contrast of the visuals. They particularly like the short takes near the end and like how the distortion is increased and works with the drum beat in the music to increase the emotion. They did say that there are a few too many distortions throughout so I will take some away during shots of Ben to make the focus be on him and the emotions he is portraying. I have also made sure to not put any distortions on the band (except there may be distortions in the climax of short takes due to fitting the pattern of the timings) to make sure that the band is clearly seen and recognisable throughout. I have also made sure to include closeups of all the band. Adding more of the drums due to the drums being very noticeable in the song and also due to the fact that in the full group shots he is further away, giving him more close ups makes him equally as noticeable as the others throughout the entire video.

The digipak is effective and you show clear branding of your band. To improve, you need to go back to the criteria regarding print and check that you are hitting level 4. For eg you could work on the framing of the image of the band and face. The lighting is not as good as it could be in the image of the band. This is a great draft and could get you a very high grade with some more drafts and tweaks.

Audience feedback - focus group
After showing my focus group the video they suggested to add some special effects on some clips to create a sense of movement and also darkness.
They also expressed that I need to slightly alter and edit clips of Ben singing because he isn't quite in time.
One person suggested that I should desaturate the colours a bit to make it look darker, which I thought was a good idea as that would also be in keeping with my digipack.
