Lyrics - a deeper look

I have chosen two songs to look at lyrically to see if I can create two ideas from them. I will then pitch both ideas to my media teacher and focus group and see what video idea would be more appropriate.

Radiohead - Nude

Don't get any big ideas, they're not gonna happen
You paint yourself white ... (will add in missing lyric here as the lyrics are blocked due to the title of the song)
But there'll be something missing

From this I get an image of a person, a character, who is experiencing some kind of break down/trouble. They're negative "Don't get any big ideas, they're not gonna happen" and as if they're a warning to someone so they won't be let down. "There'll be something missing" could represent something missing in this characters life like a love? Their sanity?

Now that you've found it, it's gone
Now that you feel it, you don't

Maybe a hint of the break down in a relationship?
You've gone off the rails

A possible break down in the character?
So don't get any big ideas, they're not gonna happen
You'll go to hell for what your dirty mind is thinking

The mention of hell could be something to do with the breakdown of the character

Pulp - underwear

Why don't you close the door and shut the curtains
'cos you're not going anywhere.
He's coming up the stairs and in a moment he'll want to see your underwear.

From this I see a potential narrative of a girl and a boy with the boy trying to seduce her.

You couldn't stop it now. There's no way to get out.
He's standing far too near. How the hell did you get here.
Semi-naked in somebody else's room.
I'd give my whole life to see it.
Just you stood there only in your underwear.

"I'd" the use of this suggesting that the singer has feelings for this girl so maybe a love triangle will be a good thing to do? And then the rest of lyrics also reflect this storyline
